In collaboration with Klopf Architecture, GMJ Construction embarked on a complete transformation of this classic atrium-style Eichler. The homeowners wanted to preserve the architectural integrity while expanding the home’s functionality. By enclosing the atrium, the project gained valuable livable square footage while still celebrating the Eichler post-and-beam structure and visual rhythm. The result is a clean, modern interior that feels both true to the past and built for the future.

Project Challenges
-
Atrium Enclosure: Retrofitting the signature open-air atrium without losing the light and openness it provided.
